Reports

The Report tab provides a structured view of all your tracked activity. It displays sessions in a tree-style format, showing time spent on different tasks, when each session occurred, and how they relate to each other. This tab is helpful for reviewing detailed records of your work and analyzing how your time was used.

Key Features

  • Date and Filter Selection:
    At the top of the page, you can select a custom date range and filter to narrow down the sessions shown in the report. This makes it easier to focus on specific timeframes or types of work.
  • Multi-Column Session List:
    The main view is a structured table with multiple columns:
    • Title: The name of the window or activity.
    • Time Spent: The total time spent on that session.
    • Date Created: The day the session was recorded.
    • Time Created: The exact time the session started.
  • Tree View Layout:
    Sessions are grouped hierarchically, so you can expand or collapse sections to see more or less detail. For example, an application session might include child sessions for specific windows or tabs.
  • Expandable Items:
    You can click on the arrow icon to expand or collapse a session group. This helps keep the interface clean while still allowing access to detailed history when needed.
  • Tooltips for Extra Info:
    Hovering over a session will show a tooltip with the full window title and the number of sub-sessions included. This is useful when titles are cut off or when quickly scanning through your sessions.
  • Right-Click Actions:
    Right-clicking (or tapping and holding) on a session opens a small menu where you can remove the session if needed. This gives you control over keeping your report clean and relevant.

How to Use This Tab

  • Use the date filter at the top to select the period you want to review.
  • Click the arrows next to items to show or hide more detailed entries.
  • Hover your mouse over titles to see the full window name and other session info.
  • Use the right-click menu to remove sessions you no longer need.
